Celebrating 50 Years!

It was the perfect sunny Saturday afternoon. A picnic in the park with family and friends, the Wilson's celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! Congratulations David and Carol. You have a beautiful family!

The Higgin's

I met this great family through my friend Katie. She went to school with Jillian. Jillian and Andy have Soren and most recently, little Theodore. We had fun on the trail, in the grass and even up in a tree. (Okay, Jillian, maybe not so much :) Soren loved to explore the ants, squirrels, an inch worm and even got a kiss from a dog on the trail ! So sweet.

The Taylor's

Mandy is my friend. She is married to John, they have little Cullen. This day was set up for John's family. All the cousins love on each other so much. Each one with their own unique personality! A playground was the perfect place to meet! Smiles all around! Especially Grammy with all her grandkids!

Deadwood, SoDak

South Dakota was beautiful! We went skiing for a day and checked out the town of Deadwood at night. The drive was amazing the day we saw the Presidents and other areas near by. Stacey planned a great trip--one enjoyed by all!

If there ever were a festival dedicated to the Eelpout, it would be in Walker, MN. This annual occurrence for us all started when a close group of friends went up to our friend Kim's cabin during the same weekend as the celebration last year. We went again last summer, and again this past February, both returning trips did not fall on the festival, but we continue to call it our Eelpout retreat. The weekend was packed with chatting, hiking, eating, relaxing, playing games, discussing THE SHACK, and enjoying each others company! Thanks again Becker's! Looking forward to Summer Eelpout '09!
